About William Gibbs
William Albion Gibbs was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Australian Labor Party (ALP) and briefly served as a Senator for New South Wales in 1925, filling the casual vacancy caused by the death of Jack Power. He was the party's assistant state secretary in New South Wales from 1915 to 1925 and stood unsuccessfully for parliament at state and federal level on several occasions.
