About William Greene
Sir William Graham Greene, more commonly referred to as Sir Graham Greene, was an English civil servant who served as Permanent Secretary to the Admiralty from 1911 to 1917, during the time of the First World War. Greene was one of the founders of Naval Intelligence in the First World War, and was still involved in Intelligence in the Second World War.
