About William Henry Gorman
William Henry Gorman was a co-founder of the Citizens Bank of Maryland. Born and raised in the Baltimore area, he was the younger brother of Arthur Pue Gorman (1839–1906), an influential political leader and longtime United States Senator from Maryland. William was a successful businessman, leading and investing in various financial institutions and public utility companies in Maryland, as well as a coal company and railroad in West Virginia.
