Footage of former Vice President Joe Biden’s gaffes made during his rally in Houston, Texas, is circulating on social media.

On Monday, the Democratic presidential hopeful stopped by Texas Southern University to urge his supporters to cast their vote on Super Tuesday.

In front of a crowd of supporters at TSU’s College of Science, Biden said, “Tomorrow, Texas is going to speak. I think we’re going to do well here in Texas with the help of all of you and when we do we’ll be well on our way to defeating Donald Trump.”

However, another part of his speech caught some people by surprise. “Look, tomorrow is Super Thursd– Tuesday,” Biden said. He managed to catch the slip before fully making the statement and corrected himself saying, “I tell you what, I’m rushing ahead, aren’t I?”

Multiple people in the crowd behind Biden can be seen reacting to Biden’s slip up.

President Donald Trump took aim at Biden, as he said during Monday night’s rally in North Carolina, “Tomorrow, voters in states across the nation for Super Tuesday — not Super Thursday.”

Trump added:

“Oh, he said Super Thursday! You can’t do these things. Can you imagine if I said Super Thursday? I would be over, right? I would be over.”

During the same rally, Biden also had another gaffe while attempting to quote the Declaration of Independence. At one point during his speech, he attempted to recite the Declaration of Independence and ultimately appeared to end up referring to parts of it as “the thing.”

“We hold these truths to be self-evident. All men and women created by the, you know, the thing…” he said.

Biden’s gaffes at the rally in Texas follows a string of slipups that have led to questions about his mental capacity. The former senator’s most recent controversial statement led to a fact-checking firestorm.

In an interview with Chris Wallace two days ago, Biden was actually questioned about his mental state.

“Mr. Vice President, I don’t especially like asking you about this but it is an issue in the campaign,” Wallace said adding, “And that has been your sometimes shaky performance on the campaign trail.”

The question came after President Donald Trump mocked Biden at CPAC saying he belonged in a “home somewhere.”

Biden responded with a quip of his own but didn’t offer a direct response to Wallace’s concern.

“Is that the stable genius saying that?” he laughed. “Oh, give me a break. God love him. I’m going to resist saying what I feel like saying.”

After that interview, Biden thanked Wallace and called him “Chuck.”
