Former Vice President Joe Biden says he’s had enough primary debates and signaled that he is ready for the primary to wrap up.

During a virtual press briefing on Wednesday, Biden was asked if he thinks there should be another Democratic presidential debate in April.

“My focus is just dealing with this crisis right now. I haven’t thought about any more debates,” Biden responded.

He added, “I think we’ve had enough debates. I think we should get on with this.”

Biden’s comments come a day after Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (I-Vt.) campaign spokesman Mike Casca signaled that the senator would remain in the campaign possibly through April.

“If there is a debate in April, he plans to be there,” Casca said.

Casca’s comments come as questions have swirled over how long Sanders plans on staying the race after suffering another set-back when he lost all three of the primaries that took place on March 17 to Biden.

In the days after those losses, Sanders’ campaign said he would “assess his campaign,” which fueled speculation that he might drop out soon.

Additionally, Lachlan Markay, a reporter for The Daily Beast, noted that the Sanders campaign had no active ads on Facebook. And, Axios reported that Sanders was suspending his campaign, but Casca denied that and said it was “absolutely false.”

When CNN’s Manu Raju asked him about the timeline for when he would decide the future of his campaign, Sanders snapped, “I’m dealing with a f***ing global crisis.”

Biden currently holds a near-insurmountable lead over Sanders in the delegate count, and the primary has essentially become frozen as several states have postponed their primaries due to the coronavirus.
