Fox News host Jedediah Bila revealed that she has been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Bila said, “I know I’ve been a little MIA. I’m actually at home recovering from COVID-19.”

She added, “I’m very much on the mend, so please don’t worry. My husband is also recovering well at home, and Hartley luckily did not get sick (Thank you, God, I am forever grateful.)”

Bila continued, “This is a crazy time in the world, full of so much anxiety and fear. I’ve learned so much this past week and done so much thinking. Know that I’m sending love, peace, and good energy from my family to yours. I’ll be sharing more in coming weeks. Thank you for your messages. I love and miss you all.”

Bila, a co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” is the first host at the network to reveal that they have been diagnosed with the coronavirus.

CNN’s Chris Cuomo revealed last week that he was diagnosed with coronavirus and has been sharing some of his symptoms as he continues with nightly broadcast, as IJR has previously reported.

Fox News is facing a lawsuit for its coverage of the coronavirus. A Washington state-based non-profit claimed that several hosts called the coronavirus a hoax and published misleading coverage of the pandemic.

“Wrong on the facts, frivolous on the law,” Fox News Media General Counsel Lily Fu Claffee said of the lawsuit. “We will defend vigorously and seek sanctions as appropriate.”

Fox News’ Sean Hannity also denied that he called the virus a hoax.

Bila’s revelation comes as the latest data finds that the U.S. has 454,304 confirmed cases of the virus.
