President Donald Trump is attacking Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s religious views, insisting he is “against” the Bible and religion.
During a radio interview with former talk show host Geraldo Rivera, Trump was asked about the current poll results which show him trailing Biden.
When asked if he is willing to “admit” that he is trailing in the presidential race, Trump refused to do so as he noted that he has support in Texas and Florida.
“I don’t think so,” Trump said. “I mean I went to Texas, I’ve never seen such enthusiasm. I went to Florida, never saw such enthusiasm. Got the support of law enforcement all over the state, and all of the sheriffs in Florida. Same thing in Texas.”
Trump went to claim that Biden opposes key issues he supports, including the Bible as he accused him of being “essentially against religion.”
“I mean when you think of it, how about Texas? One of the polls [said] Trump is leading by one [point] in Texas. OK, I’m in favor of oil and gas. I’m in favor of the Bible. I’m in favor of Second Amendment. Biden is against all of those things. He’s against oil, he’s against the Bible — essentially against religion — but against the Bible, and he’s against the Second Amendment.”
A skeptical Rivera responded, saying, “That may be a little harsh, him being against the Bible.”

Listen to “Geraldo Interviews President Trump FULL INTERVIEW” on Spreaker.Trump pivoted as he admitted that the assertion “maybe a little harsh.” However, he also insisted that the “people that control” Biden are against religion.
“Well, the people who control him totally are. It may be a little harsh for him. but he’s going to have no control,” Trump said.
When asked if he believes Biden is a decent person, he simply said he doesn’t know him. Biden’s campaign team has yet to respond to Trump’s claims.
