After leaving jobs at the White House and the anti-Trump group The Lincoln Project, George and Kellyanne Conway are both pushing for the Senate to confirm President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.
Republican lawyer and staunch opponent of Trump, George Conway, tweeted his support for Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Amy Coney Barrett.
On Saturday, George responded to a tweet asking if enough Republican senators would defect and vote against Barrett, he said, “No. Not a chance. She is eminently qualified to serve on the Supreme Court.”
Kellyanne re-tweet her husband’s comments with the “100” emoji.

In a separate tweet thread, George tweeted, “There’s no reason to doubt her fairness or integrity.”
Kellyanne also re-tweeted her husband’s tweet with the same emoji and the hashtag “Confirm Amy.”

Trump announced he would nominate Barrett to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court that opened up after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as IJR reported.
While Kellyanne served as a senior adviser to Trump since he entered the Oval Office in 2017, George has been a fierce critic of the president and co-founded The Lincoln Project.
The couple occasionally traded barbs over their support or opposition to the president, which led some to speculate about the state of their marriage.
George has blasted the president over his tenure in office, at one point comparing him to a “practical joke that got out of hand.”
The Conways revealed in August that they would both be stepping down from their jobs to “devote more time to family matters.”
In a statement, Kellyanne said, “We disagree about plenty, but we are united on what matters most: the kids. Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months.”
“As millions of parents nationwide know, kids’ doing school from home’ requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times,” she added.
