President Donald Trump is supposed to be isolating himself as he recovers from COVID-19, which means he cannot hold his cherished campaign rallies with less than 30 days before election day.

However, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh announced on his show on Thursday that the president would hold a “virtual radio rally” on his show.

“I’m thrilled to announce that our commander in chief, President Donald Trump, will be right here tomorrow hosting the largest virtual rally in radio history,” Limbaugh said.

He added, “It will be special, and I am really looking forward to it.”

Finally, he encouraged his listeners to “be thinking of things you might ask him today, and then get ready for the largest virtual rally in radio history tomorrow.”

Limbaugh said his website would have more details about the virtual rally later in the day.

While Trump is off the campaign trail, for now, he has expressed his desire to get back to campaigning. He also expressed his desire to debate Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

However, after the Commission on Presidential Debates announced that the next debate would move to an all-virtual format, Trump said, “I’m not going to waste my time on a virtual debate.”

“The commission changed the debate style, and that’s not acceptable to us. I beat him easily in the first debate,” he added.

After Trump revealed that he and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus, the president’s re-election campaign announced that “events involving the President’s participation are in the process of being moved to virtual events or are being temporarily postponed.”

Trump was admitted to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday to be treated for coronavirus. But on Monday, he said he would be returning to the White House.
