Democratic vice presidential Kamala Harris is accusing President Donald Trump of raising concerns about voter fraud in the upcoming election to distract voters from what she says is the “greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history.”

Harris was asked about Trump’s claims that mail-in ballots are ripe for voter fraud. She said, “I honestly believe he’s doing it to distract from the fact that he actually has no record to run on.”

She continued, “I’ve said this many times. We have witnessed the greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history of America. And so he wants to scare people, he wants to distract people, confuse people, but you know what, he doesn’t understand that the American people are smarter than that.”

Trump has previously claimed that the only way he would lose the election is if it is “rigged,” as IJR reported. Despite a lack of evidence, the president has alleged that mail-in ballots will be subjected to massive fraud in favor of the Democrats.

And on Monday, he lashed out at the Supreme Court for allowing Pennsylvania to count mail-in ballots that arrive after election day.

“What a ruling. What a horrible thing that they’ve done. You know that puts our country in danger?” he said. “Do you know what can happen during that long period of time? … That long period of time. Do you know what can happen? Number one, cheating can happen like you’ve never seen. This is [the Democrats’] dream.”

“I’m just so tired of some of these horrible, political decisions that are being made. It’s a shame. It’s a shame. And I won’t get into it too much. But, I’m going to start getting into it, because they’re hurting our country very badly,” he added.

Trump said he is ready to mount legal challenges after the election. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, he said, “I think it’s terrible when we can’t know the results of an election the night of the election… We’re going to go in the night of, as soon as that election’s over, we’re going in with our lawyers.”
