President Donald Trump is not conceding the presidential election yet, but he has hinted that he may run for office again in 2024.

But a new NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll that was released Wednesday reveals that a majority of respondents say they do not want the president to run for a second, non-consecutive term.

According to the poll, 60% of respondents said they do not want Trump to run again, while 32% said they do.

Sixty-seven percent of Republicans said they would like to see him run again, while just eight percent of Democrats said the same.

While President-elect Joe Biden has secured the required number of electoral votes to clinch the White House, Trump has refused to concede the election and alleged there was widespread fraud that cost him his reelection bid.

A November poll by Morning Consult found that 54% of Republicans said they would support Trump if he ran again in 2024.

While he has not officially made any announcements about his future plans, he hinted that he is considering another presidential run. During a Christmas party at the White House last week, Trump told attendees, “It’s been an amazing four years. We are trying to do another four years. Otherwise, I’ll see you in four years.”
