Co-hosts of “The View” Meghan McCain and Joy Behar shared a heated moment while debating which party has more conflict within itself.
“Let the Republicans fight amongst themselves. On the one hand you have the Republicans, on the other you have the seditionists. That’s the fight that’s going on in the Republican party right now,” Behar said.
She added, “In the Democratic party, you have the progressives versus the moderates, which is… de rigueur as they say… it’s what it always is. It’s typical politics. The Republicans are in much more trouble right now.”
McCain interrupted Behar to argue why the Democratic party has more unrest among its members.
“Are you kidding me?” McCain said.
She continued, “You have AOC fighting right now about whether or not she’s going to end up primarying Chuck Schumer… You have the squad that’s coming out very intensely, very angry, that Biden hasn’t filled his cabinet with more progressives.”

McCain expressed her opposition to the idea “that there isn’t fighting within the Democratic Party as well.”
The exchange turned personal when McCain joked with Behar, “You missed me so much, Joy. You missed me so much when I was on maternity leave. You missed me so much — you missed fighting with me.”
Behar fired back, “I did not. I did not miss you. Zero.”
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg tried to bring the conversation back to the question, but McCain proceeded to spar with Behar.
“You know what, that’s so nasty. That’s… so nasty. I was teasing because you said something rude… That’s so rude,” McCain went on.
The exchange comes one day after McCain called for paid maternity leave.
“We as conservatives have to come together and allow all women in this country no matter where they’re from or their socioeconomic class the capacity to have what I just had, which is three months of bonding time and breastfeeding and healing,” she said.
