Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) shared the tweet of someone who called House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) a “moron” after he denounced her comparison of the House’s mask mandate to the Holocaust.
The Georgia Congresswoman re-tweeted a user on Tuesday who said, “Look you moron, nobody supported Israel in their recent conflict with Hamas more than MTG. Her analogy may not have been perfect but you seriously need to get a grip you feckless c**t. Pelosi is the villain here.”
Greene said, “Thank you for seeing the truth and how much I support Israel and stand against the left’s support for Hamas terrorists.”

Forbes’ Andrew Solender took a screenshot of her tweet, however, he noted that it appears she deleted it minutes later.
Greene is facing renewed criticism after she compared the House’s mask mandate to the Holocaust during an interview on Real America’s Voice. She said, “You know, we can look back at a time in history when people were told to wear a gold star, and they were definitely treated like second-class citizens, so much so that they were put in trains and taken to gas chambers in Nazi Germany.”
“And this is exactly the type of abuse that Nancy Pelosi is talking about,” she added.
Lawmakers are required to wear masks in the House chamber even if they are vaccinated despite guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that says fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks indoors in most settings.
Her comments prompted a rebuke from McCarthy, who said in a statement, “Marjorie is wrong, and her intentional decision to compare the horrors of the Holocaust with wearing masks is appalling. The Holocaust is the greatest atrocity committed in history. The fact that this needs to be stated today is deeply troubling.”
“At a time when the Jewish people face increased violence and threats, anti-Semitism is on the rise in the Democrat Party and is completely ignored by Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Americans must stand together to defeat anti-Semitism and any attempt to diminish the history of the Holocaust. Let me be clear: the House Republican Conference condemns this language,” he added.
Greene denied that she was comparing the mask mandate to the Holocaust and instead claimed she was comparing it to “the discrimination against Jews in early Nazi years.”
