First Lady Jill Biden is explaining why she wore a jacket with the message “LOVE” printed on the back during her visit in the U.K.
On Thursday, the U.S. first lady was seen with “LOVE” on the back of her black jacket while she and President Joe Biden met with Prime Minister of the U.K. Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie Johnson.
Asked what her message is, Jill Biden replied, “Oh, the love? I think that we’re bringing love from America.”
“I think this a global conference and we’re trying to bring unity across the globe, and I think that’s important right now,” she added. “That people feel a sense of unity for all the countries and feel a sense of hope after this year of the pandemic.”
Joe Biden and the U.K. prime minister will hold a bilateral meeting on Thursday.
