Former vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin “would never say never” to running for office again.

During an interview with Newsmax, Eric Bolling said, “You’re a very popular personality. You’re a very popular politician.”

He asked Palin, “Do you have aspirations to get back into elected office or anything more in politics?”

She replied, “I would love to. I would never say never… I feel like there are still some offerings that I have in terms of a service heart. I want to serve. I want to help the people.”

Palin continued, “And I think I have a heck of a lot of common sense, and that’s what we need today. And I’m not so obsessively partisan that I let that get in the way of doing what’s right for the people.”

Bolling responded, “Hmm, stay tuned, in other words, folks.”

Over the summer, the former governor of Alaska hinted at a 2022 Senate run to challenge Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska).

Palin said she would run for senator “[i]f God wants me to do it.”

In 2008, the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) selected Palin as his running mate.

“She’s exactly who I need. She’s exactly who this country needs to help me fight the same old Washington politics of me first and country second,” McCain told supporters in Ohio.

Palin said it was her honor to be chosen as his running mate, adding, “I will be honored to serve next to the next president of the United States.”

She continued, “As governor, I’ve stood up to the old politics as usual. This is a moment when principle and political independence matter.”

A 2010 study from researchers at Stanford University showed Palin cost McCain 1.6 percentage points, equivalent to 2.1 million votes.
