About one in 100 children are diagnosed with Autism, according to the World Health Organization, and this business owner is making sure they aren’t left out.

Co-Founder John Lee Cronin of “John’s Crazy Socks” told ABC News, “It’s very important to us that I like hiring people with Autism.”

John owns the world’s biggest sock store with 4,000 different choices and donates money from his sales to help with Autism awareness efforts.

John has also hired 22 people that all have different abilities, most of whom have Autism.

“It’s part of our mission to show what’s possible. We wanna show every day what people with different abilities can do,” Mark Cronin, John’s father added.

He shared that their goal is to show that their business can succeed because of whom they hire.

Regardless of our differences, God has created us all with the ability to do something for His glory.

Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Watch the video below:

“We want other businesses to see that hiring people with different abilities – people with Autism, is a good business move,” Mark Cronin continued.

The company comes up with fun, unique, ideas for sock designs like hot air balloon socks, Autism awareness socks, and many more.

Mark told ABC News that seeing his son along with his employees excelling in the business is “awesome” and “there is nothing better” when they are busy. He said that the busyness is like “Santa’s Workshop.”

“With everybody being productive and active it’s a great scene to see,” he shared.

Mark expressed that he along with “John’s Crazy Sock’s” employees want places across the country to hire people with different abilities.

“It’s part of the solution to the labor crisis that we have,” he said.

As their company’s website reads, “John’s affinity for crazy socks paired with his love of making people smile made our mission clear: we want to spread happiness.“
