When applying for colleges, many people hope to at least get accepted into one of them but this high school senior got accepted into 27 top colleges.
Jonathan Walker spoke to ABC News about his incredible accomplishment.
“Being honest I thought that all of them were reach schools. They’re so difficult to get into. To get admission into one of them I would have been super thankful,” he said.
When Walker kept getting accepted into the schools he applied for he said of his reaction, “Time after time I would just say that it was just surprise just to see that they were interested in me and they wanted me to attend their institution that they were offering me admission.”
Walker shared that he didn’t get used to the constant approvals but that each time he got into a new school it was just “a ton of excitement.”

Walker also explained that when it came to the process of picking the schools he wanted to apply to, every time he researched a school he would find something that he liked about them and every school on his list he could see himself there.
“I didn’t apply anywhere I don’t think I’d be happy at and so I just made a list and I started applying to them,” he said.
Walker is very involved in his high school joining the science club and varsity football team. He was also crowned homecoming king.
1 Peter 4:10 tells us, “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”
When speaking about what drives him Walker said, “I would just say that I’ve been blessed with God with a lot of ability and so I mean I just want to take the time and use it to the fullest extent and just affect others — positively affect them and try to inspire other people.”
