A landowner in Texas is making an offer to Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
“Elon Musk, Move Twitter to Schwertner, TX. 38 Miles North of Austin in Williamson County, and we will give you 100 Acres for FREE,” Jim Schwertner, CEO of Schwertner Farms, tweeted.

Austonia noted Schwertner oversees farming and ranching on 20,000 acres of land.
He told the outlet giving the land to Musk would be a “win-win for everybody.”
Schwertner explained, “We think it’s a good idea, especially when you’ve got Samsung coming to Taylor,” adding, “I mean, this area is exploding and we want to be part of this explosive growth.”
He suggested with all of the things Musk has done, he “evidently likes Texas, right or he wouldn’t have moved from California.”
Schwertner continued, “And I want to be part of his plan if he’ll come visit with us.”
According to Schwertner, “We’ve always been entrepreneurs in our family and we’ve always tried to help the communities.
He added, “And I think my offer is a serious gesture to help the citizens around Williamson County.”
The offer comes just one day after Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) told Musk to “bring Twitter to Texas to join Tesla, SpaceX and the Boring company.”

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) also tweeted, “Elon should move Twitter HQ to the freedom-loving state of Tennessee!”

Earlier this week, Musk struck a deal with the Twitter board to buy the social media company for $44 billion, as IJR reported.
The New York Post reported leaked internal communications by Twitter employees show they are upset by the purchase.
“We’re all going through the five stages of grief in cycles and everyone’s nerves are frazzled,” a senior staff software engineer wrote.
They added, “We’re all spinning our wheels, and coming up with worst case scenarios (Trump returns! No more moderation!). The fact is that [Musk] has not talked about what he’s planning on doing in any detail outside of broad sweeping statements that could be easily seen as hyperbolic showboating.”
A senior staff video engineer said, “Not the place to say it perhaps, but I will not work for this company after the takeover.”
