Billionaire Elon Musk called on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) to post the same poll he did about politicians and billionaires.

On Thursday, Musk tweeted, “Who do you trust less? Real question.”

The two options listed were politicians and billionaires.

He added, “[AOC] I dare you to run the same poll with your followers.”

One user asked, “Are you picking on her cause she said she wants to switch from Tesla to another EV?”

Musk responded with a pair of eye and laughing emojis.

Musk’s tweet comes after Ocasio-Cortez was asked about his support for the GOP.

“He’s a billionaire. I could care less what he thinks,” Ocasio-Cortez told Bloomberg.

Additionally, Ocasio-Cortez talked about ditching her Tesla.

“At the time, it was the only EV that could get me from New York to Washington on like one, or one-and-a-half charges,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

She added, “I would love to switch.”

Earlier this month, Musk responded to Ocasio-Cortez on Twitter after she criticized his purchase of Twitter, as IJR reported.

“Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening [because] some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform and skews it because Tucker Carlson or Peter Thiel took him to dinner and made him feel special,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.

Musk replied, “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy.”

Ocasio-Cortez then fired back, “I was talking about Zuckerberg but ok.”

The Democrat has previously expressed her frustration with Billionaires.

“Billionaires need the working class. The working class does not need billionaires,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted in 2020.

In September 2021, Ocasio-Cortez made headlines for wearing a dress with the words “Tax the Rich” printed on it to the Met Gala.

She later defended the fashion statement.

“The medium is the message,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

She explained, “NYC elected officials are regularly invited to and attend the Met due to our responsibilities in overseeing our city’s cultural institutions that serve the public. I was one of several in attendance. Dress is borrowed.”
