Conan Gray’s performance of the national anthem during the Home Run Derby is garnering a lot of reactions.
Gray is a 23-year-old YouTube singer-songwriter.
During the event, Gray sang the national anthem and his performance was met with some criticism.

Gray is not the only celebrity that has received criticism over their performance of the song.
In 2018, Fergie sang the national anthem during the NBA’s All-Star Game.

She later broke her silence on the performance, saying, “I’ve always been honored and proud to perform the national anthem and last night I wanted to try something special for the NBA. I’m a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn’t strike the intended tone. I love this country and honestly tried my best.”
NBA star Steph Curry later posted a video to his Instagram of players dancing to a remix of her performance.
