The apparent front runner for the Republican party’s gubernatorial nomination in Arizona once reportedly posted a meme declaring that former President Donald Trump was “not my president.”

According to a report from Fox News, a 2017 post on the Facebook account of Kari Lake, who has received the backing of Trump, read, “Will you be protesting the inauguration? If so, which of these suggestions will you adopt? Will you boycott TV coverage? Wear black?”

“Donate money the ACLU, NAACP or Planned Parenthood? Use the hashtag #NotMyPresident? Will you unfollow Donald Trump?” it added.

The outlet reports that Lake’s campaign did not respond to a request for comment.

The post has reportedly since disappeared.

Fox shared a screenshot of the post before it disappeared which featured Trump’s face with the words “Not My President” written over it.

It also called his inauguration a “national day of morning and protest.”

Additionally, the post urged followers to “find and join local protests,” “wear black,” “boycott t.v. coverage,” “change your profile pic to black,” “use #NotMyPresident.”

It also recommended donating to Planned Parenthood.

Now that Lake is running for governor, she has cast herself as a supporter of the former president and furthered his unfounded claims that the 2020 election was stolen. She has also called the election system “rotten to the core.”

During an appearance on Fox News in June, Lake was confronted about a report that claimed that despite her recent attacks on drag queens, she was once a fan of them.

“I’m really shocked. I’m actually appalled that Fox News would take a defamatory story like that, and we are pursuing legal action against this drag queen, I’m appalled that you would bring that up when you have not talked about our stolen election,” Lake shot back.

She quickly tried to return to the issue of the 2020 election. However, she eventually denied the report.

Trump later praised Lake for the Fox exchange, writing on his Truth Social platform, “Arizona Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake was absolutely fantastic in her interview with a very unfair Bret Baier on Fox News… Kari is the kind of tough minded and smart person our Country needs if we are ever going to be great again!”

While Trump is backing Lake, former Vice President Mike Pence endorsed Karrin Taylor Robson in the primary race.

Polls currently show Lake is the front runner for the nomination.
