A convenience store owner managed to stop an attempted robbery by firing at one of the suspects.
Evening news anchor for CBS2 Jeff Vaughn posted footage of the incident on Twitter.
Eighty-year-old Craig Cope noticed an armed suspect walking into his store.
He took out a shotgun that was hidden and fired at the suspect.
The suspect could later be seen leaving the store, shouting, “He shot my arm off!”
The other suspects then took off in a car.

Vaughn reported that four individuals were arrested and one remains in the hospital.
“Store owner expected back at work,” he added.
Marnie Tapia, one of Cope’s employees, spoke with WRAL.com about the incident.
“He saw on the surveillance — he saw them coming out of the vehicle with weapons,” Tapia said.
Tapia told the outlet she is “proud to call him my boss,” adding, “He makes us feel better about being here, you know.”
According to Tapia, Cope suffered a heart attack stemming from the events but will fully recover, as the outlet reported.
The employee shared that she believes the cameras installed at the store saved the life of her boss.
“The sheriff came in and warned me about eight months ago or so that this was going on and to keep an eye out and pay attention, be on your toes,” Tapia said.
