The U.S. Capitol Police shared that officers assisted a mother with delivering her baby inside of an SUV.

The agency tweeted, “WHOA BABY! This afternoon our officers helped a local mother give birth to her beautiful, baby girl.”

The tweet continues, “Cheers could be heard from the U.S. Capitol Police Command Center when it happened around noon.”

According to the agency, the woman “delivered the baby in the front passenger seat of an SUV on Constitution Avenue, next to the Hart Senate Office Building.”
