President Joe Biden is going viral for his brutal imitation of Republicans meant to mock them for their alleged lack of shame.
During a Democratic fundraiser on Thursday night, Biden ripped Republicans for touting provisions of various pieces of legislation that they did not vote for.
“We also passed once in a generation investment in our nation’s roads, highways, bridges, railroad, ports, airports, water systems, high-speed internet,” the president said.
He continued, “We got a little help from Republicans. But not a lot. But enough to get it passed. But the truth is, there are a lot more Republicans taking credit for that bill than actually voted for it.”
Biden then deepened his voice and imitated Republicans touting parts of legislation that they did not vote for.
“And now we’re going to build this new bridge here. We’re all for it,” he said with what appeared to be a slight accent similar to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), adding, “And by the way, this new road. And we’re going to have an internet.”
