Democratic Senate nominee John Fetterman was mocked after declaring himself “John Fetterwoman.”
Fetterman made the declaration during a rally at Montgomery County Community College in Pennsylvania on Sunday.
“My name is John Fetterwoman!” he said.

In a normal society you’d think a giant 6’7 bald man would be doing something more respectable and masculine than calling himself “John Fetterwoman” https://t.co/iNZmJPQzhs

During the event, Fetterman claimed that women “are the reason we can win.”
He added, “Lemme say that again: Women are the reason we win. Don’t p— women off.”
Speaking out on the right to have an abortion, Fetterman said, “This decision is between a woman and a real doctor.”
He argued that his Republican opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, “Believes abortion is murder. If every abortion is murder, that means Oz thinks every woman who had to choose an abortion is a killer. Think about that.”
Oz recently told Fox News that Fetterman “believes that you can have an abortion at full term at 38 weeks, and that does not seem like the middle of the road to most Pennsylvania voters.”
According to Oz, that “seems quite radical, which is why he won’t be emphasizing that I don’t believe in this general election, but it’s still true because he said it in his debate when he was campaigning to be the Democratic nominee.”
Fetterman has made headlines recently after some have raised questions about his health.
Last week, Fetterman’s hometown newspaper commented on the fact that he has not fully recovered from a stroke he suffered from a few months ago.
“If Mr. Fetterman is not well enough to debate his opponent, that raises serious concerns about his ability to serve as a United States senator,” The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette editorial board wrote.
