DJ and Dancer Stephen “tWitch” Boss had plenty of plans for 2023.
A source confirmed to People that he and his wife Allison Holker Boss were going to be busy in 2023 with “multiple shows, brand deals and projects in pre-production for the upcoming year.”
“He was so excited about all of the projects he had coming up and was very involved day to day,” another insider told People.
Boss was involved in multiple television shows throughout his career, such as “So You Think You Can Dance” (SYTYCD) and “World Of Dance.”
“As for his role on SYTYCD, PEOPLE confirms that no decisions have been made about a 2023 season,” as People reports.
Law enforcement sources spoke to TMZ and revealed that on Tuesday the DJ’s wife frantically ran into an LAPD station and told them that he left home without his car, which was unlike him.
At 11:15 a.m, paramedics received a call from a hotel in Los Angeles about a “medical emergency.”
Boss was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene.
On Wednesday, Boss’ wife announced the news of his death in an exclusive statement to People.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him,” she said.
Continuing, she said, “He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans. To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory.”
She also asked for privacy “during this difficult time” for her and their three children.
“Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you,” she concluded.
Boss was 40 years old.
