Actor Rob Reiner angered critics after he praised President Joe Biden on Twitter.

On Sunday, Reiner tweeted, “The difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is: Joe Biden is a decent law abiding person, and Donald Trump is a pathologically lying criminal.”

Podcast host Alan Jacoby joked, “The difference between [Rob Reiner] and a hippopotamus is that a hippopotamus is an awesome majestic creature, and [Rob Reiner] is a morbidly obese, marxist imbecile.”

Reporter Carmine Sabia argued, “They broke the same law, but Rob Reiner likes Joe Biden, and he does not like Donald Trump. Therefore the law should apply only to who he dislikes.”

Allow me to translate this. They broke the same law, but Rob Reiner likes Joe Biden, and he does not like Donald Trump. Therefore the law should apply only to who he dislikes. https://t.co/btbW6gtjVb

Reiner’s criticism comes amid more reports of classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center as well as his home in Delaware.

Over the weekend, White House lawyer Richard Sauber said six pages of classified documents were discovered during a search of Biden’s private library, as CBS News reported.

“While I was transferring it to the DOJ officials who accompanied me, five additional pages with classification markings were discovered among the material with it, for a total of six pages,” Sauber said.

He added, “The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.”

Sauber previously explained the White House was “confident that a thorough review will show that these documents were inadvertently misplaced, and the president and his lawyers acted promptly upon discovery of this mistake.”

The outlet noted the White House is facing criticism for waiting months to recognize the findings of the documents at Biden’s office.

Bob Bauer, Biden’s personal lawyer, said the legal team has “attempted to balance the importance of public transparency where appropriate with the established norms and limitations necessary to protect the investigation’s integrity.”
