Country singer John Rich shared with his followers that he is working on a song to address cancel culture.
Rich posted a video on Twitter along with the caption, “Brand new song called ‘I’m Offended!’ Whatcha think?”
Opening the song, Rich sings, “Seems like these days, no matter what you say, someone’s losing their ever-loving mind.”
He continues, “It’s like they’re looking for a reason to have their fragile feelings hurt. Every single time.”
Rich addresses issues in the song including electric vehicles and masking against COVID-19.
“I’m offended. You’re offended. Let’s all get offended tonight. I’ll order us a beer, we can sit down here, scream and yell and cuss and fuss and fight,” Rich goes on to sing.
Additionally, he defends the First Amendment, Second Amendment, and praying to God.

The singer made headlines last month after he celebrated his win in a COVID-19-related lawsuit, as IJR reported.
“During the lockdowns, I stated I’d NEVER play a concert venue that forced fans to show their ‘papers’ for entry concerning Covid,” Rich tweeted.
He added, “One venue added that rule after I agreed to play, so I cancelled it. The promoter sued me. He LOST the case today! Happy to say I never bent the knee.”
