On Thursday, audience members were asked to stand as Harris entered the room.
A smattering of applause could be heard, which led White House adviser Keisha Lance Bottoms to say, “You can clap. It’s okay.”

During the same event, Harris suggested audience members should “always ask” if there is a Venn diagram for a situation.
“I’m telling you, it’s fascinating when you do,” she continued. “Venn diagram those three circles, right?”
