Items belonging to convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh and his family will soon be auctioned off.
Liberty Auction House in Pembroke posted about the auction on Facebook, saying, “Here is a glimpse into a prominent estate picked up in Colleton County, South Carolina. We still have a lot of setting up to do but we can’t wait to see everyone Thursday night!”
The auction will begin at 4 p.m.
MyNetworkTV/ABC affiliate WCIV confirmed the items belong to the Murdaugh family.
Among the items included in the auction are a red leather chair and ottoman, a red leather sofa, monogrammed pillows, a series of dishes, lamps, and several animal skulls and heads.

Earlier this month, Alex Murdaugh was found guilty on all counts in the murders of his wife and son.
He was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences.
Alex Murdaugh made headlines again Tuesday when his attorney expressed his anger after a South Carolina jail released a recorded phone call between the two by accident.
Fox Carolina News reported the clip of the audio was released on social media.
“Yeah, that’s me, and I’m mad as hell,” attorney Jim Griffin told Fox News, confirming it was his voice on the audio.
He added, “Other questions I have are who else had access and listened to those calls. You can tell from the clip we were absolutely talking about trial strategy.”
Griffin shared he is “investigating to try to determine what happened.”
Additionally, the attorney said he has “sent in inquiries to the jail and sheriff’s department.”
The Colleton County Sheriff’s Office issued a press release saying the podcast Hidden True Crime obtained the recording after filing a public records request, per Fox News.
“The release of the attorney-client call was an inadvertent human error,” the release said.
It continues, “All jail calls had to be screened by listening to the first few seconds of each call to determine if they fell under attorney-client privilege. Multiple calls were removed, but this one call inadvertently remained in the list for release.”
