Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has gone missing, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department.

In a statement on Facebook, the department explained, “Officers are looking for Jared Bell, DOB 06/27/1986. He should be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW and his last known location is potentially the area of Mainland High School on 4/12/2023 just before 9 p.m.”

The post continues, “He is considered missing and endangered. If you know where he is or have any information, please contact Detective Jayson Wallace at 386-671-5207 or [email protected].”

Bell previously made headlines in 2021 after pleading guilty to a felony charge of attempting to endanger children and a misdemeanor charge of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, Variety reported.

He later received a sentence of two years probation and 200 hours of community service.

The actor previously issued a statement addressing the matter.

“Today I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong,” he said. “I’m sorry that the victim was harmed in any way—that was obviously not my intention.”

Bell continued, “I have taken this matter very very seriously… and again I just want to apologize to her and anyone else who may have been affected by my actions.”

Earlier this year, it was reported that Bell was receiving help for substance abuse.

“Drake needed to take time to get help and focus on his health,” an insider told People.

The outlet also reported at the time that Bell and his wife Janet Von Schmeling had separated.

“Janet is devoted to raising their son,” the source explained to People. “Drake and Janet are committed to maintaining a peaceful co-parenting relationship and giving their son the best life possible.”

Bell made a name for himself during his time on the hit Nickelodeon show “Drake and Josh.”
