Actress Charlize Theron scorched critics who oppose drag queen performers.
Theron, 47, appeared on the “Drag Isn’t Dangerous” fundraiser telethon last Sunday via a video shared on Twitter by the fan account Charlize Theron Daily. She, along with a few of her friends, vocalized their support for the drag queen community.
“We love you, queens. We’re in your corner and we’ve got you, and I will f— anybody up who’s like trying to f— with anything with you guys,” she boldly stated.
The Oscar winner explained drag queens should be the least of our worries when it comes to children.

“In all seriousness, there’s so many things that are hurting and, really, killing our kids, and we all know what I’m talking about right now and it ain’t no drag queen — because if you’ve ever seen a drag queen lip-sync for her life, it only makes you happier, it only makes you love more, it makes you a better person,” she continued.
Theron asked viewers to “support all the great organizations that are out there” who are attempting to get rid of “all of these incredibly stupid policies.”
“No more room for hate, only love, and love equals drag queens!” she concluded.
On March 2, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee (R) signed a bill into law prohibiting an “adult cabaret performance” in public or in a location where minors are present. Violation of this law could lead to criminal charges. It takes effect on July 1.
On March 8, RuPaul, host of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” slammed lawmakers for their ban on drag queen shows.
“Hey, look over there! A classic distraction technique, distracting us away from the real issues that they were voted into office to focus on: jobs, healthcare, keeping our children safe from harm at their own school. But we know that bullies are incompetent at solving real issues,” he said in a video posted on his Instagram page.
