Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld compared Vice President Kamala Harris to the “Bud Light of Veeps” regarding her continued low approval ratings among voters.

Gutfeld discussed how Harris has beaten people like President Joe Biden, and former Vice Presidents Al Gore and Dick Cheney in terms of having a low approval rating.

A recent NBC News poll showed that 49% of voters had an unfavorable view of Harris and 39% had a “very negative” outlook of the vice president. This is compared to 32% of voters who have a favorable view of Harris.

“Who says women can’t beat men when given the chance?” said Gutfeld during his segment of “Gutfeld!” on Wednesday. “Yes, ladies, you too, could suck every bit as much as men. She truly is the Bud Light of veeps.”

Gutfeld’s comparison of Harris to Bud Light is in reference to the backlash the company received after decorating a can for transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The -17-point difference in favorability for Harris is the lowest for any vice president, according to NBC News.

By comparison, a poll from October 2019 shows former Vice President Mike Pence with a 34% approval rating and a 38% negative approval rating – resting at a -4-point difference.

In December 2010, when Biden was vice president, he had a 34% positive approval rating and a 33% negative approval rating, signifying a +1-point difference.

Cheney on the other hand had a 47% positive approval rating and a 24% negative approval rating in May 2003. This signifies a +23-point difference.

Gore held a 42% positive approval rating and a 27% negative approval rating in March 1995. This signifies a +15-point difference.

Despite receiving record-low approval ratings, a Suffolk University/USA Today poll from early June showed that 86% of Democratic voters are comfortable with Harris taking over as president.

Out of those polled, 53% said they were “very comfortable” with the idea, 32% of voters said they were “somewhat comfortable” and 4% expressed having concerns.
