Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) is trying to explain her behavior at a performance of “Beetlejuice” as the result of an “eccentric” personality.
But during a segment of ABC’s “The View,” co-host Ana Navarro said, “Let me just say, Lauren Boebert, no honey, you weren’t eccentric, you were X-rated.”
“This was not a performance of ’50 Shades of Gray,’ it was a performance of ‘Beetlejuice,'” she added.
Navarro then blasted Boebert for her comments about drag queens in the past as she said, “She’s a staunch supporter of children, God forbid a child sees the fake boobies of a drag queen. Apparently, the fake boobies of a trash queen are OK!”

Her comment refers to Boebert being removed from a performance of “Beetlejuice” in her home state of Colorado.
The New York Post reports, “Security footage from Denver’s Buell Theatre Sunday shows the 36-year-old Colorado Republican reaching down for her date’s crotch shortly after blowing a plume of vaporized smoke into the air, which she initially denied doing.”
“When her date — Democratic Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher, 46 — in turn appeared to fondle her breast, the congresswoman aggressively grabbed his hand to keep it there,” it added.
The congresswoman addressed her behavior during an interview on One America News Network, saying, “I was a little too eccentric. I am very known for having an animated personality. Maybe overly animated personality.”
The Post also reported that Boebert’s date owns a gay-friendly bar in Aspen, Colorado.
Additionally, the bar has hosted drag shows.
Boebert has been an outspoken critic of drag performers.
