The IDF calls for the evacuation of all civilians of Gaza City from their homes southwards for their own safety and protection and move to the area south of the Wadi Gaza, as shown on the map.
The Hamas terrorist organization…
“The Hamas terrorist organization waged a war against the State of Israel and Gaza City is an area where military operations take place. This evacuation is for your own safety.”
According to Axios, the United Nations was notified of this warning just before midnight. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated during a press conference on Friday, “We call on all civilians in Gaza City to move south.”
“We don’t want to harm them. Whoever wants to save his life should go south. Hamas is camouflaging itself inside civilian population and we are going to go in and dismantle its infrastructure,” he added.
U.N. spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric noted, “The United Nations considers it impossible for such a movement to take place without devastating humanitarian consequences.”
“The United Nations strongly appeals for any such order, if confirmed, to be rescinded avoiding what could transform what is already a tragedy into a calamitous situation.”
Anadolu Ajansi reported more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israeli airstrikes. This is in retaliation to the roughly 1,300 murders carried out by the Palestinian Islamic terrorist group Hamas last weekend.
According to The New Arab, Hamas claims the attack was organized after hundreds of “Israeli extremists” stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East Jerusalem last Thursday.
Thousands have been injured on both sides, including women and children. According to The Hill, up to 150 hostages have been taken by Hamas and the terrorist group has threatened to kill the hostages if the airstrikes continue.
