Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) is declining to condemn people who chanted “Death to America” at a rally in her district.
Fox News’ Hillary Vaughn caught up with the congresswoman and asked, “Do you condemn chants of ‘Death to America’?”
“I don’t talk to Fox News. I don’t talk to Fox News!” Tlaib yelled in response.
When Vaughn pressed if she would condemn the chant, Tlaib said, “I don’t talk to people who use racist tropes.”
“Why can’t you just say whether or not you condemn… why are you afraid to talk to Fox?” Vaughn asked.

Tlaib accused the network of using “racist tropes towards my community.”
“And I don’t talk to Fox News,” she added.
Vaughn then asked if the phrase “Death to America” is racist.
However, Tlaib continued to attack the network instead of responding to the initial question.
