Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) is expressing frustration with Fox News for publishing an opinion article that called her an “idiot.”
Speaking to conservative commentator Steve Bannon, Greene said, “Fox News called me an idiot. That was literally their headline. They called me an idiot.”
“But what I’ve done is expose what was already happening in the dark,” she added.

Last month, Fox News published an opinion article by columnist Liz Peek titled, “Marjorie Taylor Greene is an idiot. She is trying to wreck the GOP.”
The article comes as Greene has been pushing to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).
In a post on X earlier this week, she blasted Johnson for paving the way for the aid packages to pass the House, writing, “Johnson will do whatever Biden/Schumer want in order to keep the Speaker’s gavel in his hand, but he has completely sold out the Republican voters who gave us the majority. His days as Speaker are numbered.”
And on Wednesday, she vowed to call for a vote to oust him next week, as top House Democrats said they would vote to table the motion.
The Georgia congresswoman said she would “want to see that happen. I want a recorded vote.”
“I can’t wait to see Democrats go out and support a Republican speaker and have to go home to their primaries, and have to run for Congress again having supported a Republican speaker,” she continued before adding with air quotes, “A Christian conservative.”
She added, “I think that will play well, I’m excited about it.”
