Former President Donald Trump insists anyone who is Jewish and voted for President Joe Biden should be “ashamed” after he threaded to stop weapons shipments to Israel.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Trump said, “What Biden is doing with respect to Israel is disgraceful. If any Jewish person voted for Joe Biden they should be ashamed of themselves. He’s totally abandoned Israel.”
“I guess he feels good about it because he did it as political decision. You have to do the right decision, not the political decision. But he did a very bad thing,” he added.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Crooked Joe Biden, whether he knows it or not, just said he will withhold weapons from Israel as they fight to eradicate Hamas Terrorists in Gaza. Hamas murdered thousands of innocent civilians, including babies, and are still holding Americans hostage, if the hostages are still alive. Yet Crooked Joe is taking the side of these terrorists, just like he has sided with the Radical Mobs taking over our college campuses, because his donors are funding them.”
“Biden is weak, corrupt, and leading the world straight into World War III. Remember – this war in Israel, just like the war in Ukraine, would have NEVER started if I was in the White House. But very soon, we will be back, and once again demanding PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH!” he added.

During an interview on CNN on Wednesday, Biden said, “If [Israel goes] into Rafah — they haven’t gone into Rafah yet — if they go into Rafah, I’m not supplying the weapons the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to do deal with the cities, to deal with that problem.”
However, he said the U.S. will continue to replenish Israel’s Iron Dome system.
And he claimed an assault on Rafah is “just wrong,” and reiterated, “We’re not going to supply the weapons and artillery shells.”
Over 1 million Palestinians have sought shelter in Rafah, and the Biden administration has stated it would oppose any large scale military operations by Israel that did not feature a plan to protect civilians, per Axios.
The outlet also noted, “The administration has already put on hold a weapons shipment to Israel that included 1,800 2,000-pound bombs and 1,700 500-pound bombs, a senior U.S. official told Axios.”
Earlier this week, Israel took control of the Rafah crossing and started evacuations of neighborhoods in the area. However, Biden said those actions did not cross his red line.
“They haven’t gotten into the population centers. What they did was right on the border, and it’s causing problems with, right now, in terms of with Egypt,” the president told CNN.
