Rudy Giuliani has agreed to stop spreading lies about two Georgia election workers he’s been spouting since the 2020 presidential race.

Giuliani is former President Donald Trump’s former personal lawyer and is now permanently prohibited from saying Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss “engaged in wrongdoing in connection with the 2020 presidential election,” the HuffPost reported.

A draft agreement was filed Tuesday.

When Trump lost the 2020 election, Giuliani started falsely claiming Freeman and Moss “brought in suitcases of illegal ballots while counting votes in Georgia’s Fulton County to alter the result in favor of” Democratic candidate Joe Biden, who won the election, per the HuffPost.

Biden defeated Trump in Georgia by 11,779 votes.

Freeman and Moss sued Giuliani in December 2021, alleging how Giuliani’s statements about them opened them to be the target of “an immediate onslaught of violent and racist threats and harassment.”

Giuliani was found liable for defaming the two after Giuliani had conceded to spreading lies about them.

He was originally ordered to pay $148 million in damages, which was lowered by about $2 million.

Freeman and Moss, who are mother and daughter, sued Giuliani a second time after he continued to make false statements about them.

They asked for an injunction to permanently bar him from talking about them.

Freeman’s and Moss’ attorneys said that in Tuesday’s agreement, if Giuliani violates the injunction he can be brought to court in Washington, D.C.

If this happens, Giuliani will not be able to hide behind his bankruptcy.

The agreement “ends his efforts to profit off of lies about these two heroes of American democracy,” Michael Gottlieb, a lawyer for the women, said.

Ted Goodman, a spokesperson for Giuliani, said Giuliani will stop commenting on Freeman and Moss.

“He will continue to comment on everything else surrounding the 2020 election,” Goodman said in a statement.

Giuliani has also been suspended and removed from WABC radio after repeatedly violating a ban on spreading 2020 election lies.
