First Lady Jill Biden is dismissing polls showing her husband losing to former President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
Jill Biden appeared on ABC’s “The View” Wednesday and was asked by conservative co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin about “poll after poll” showing Trump beating Joe Biden “outside of the margin of error,” when “last time in 2020, Joe Biden was beating him in nearly every poll.”
Griffin asked, “How do you turn those numbers around with five months out? And are you fearful of what a second Trump term could look like?”
“Or a third, as Donald Trump says,” Jill Biden quipped.
She added the Biden team will be traveling to college campuses and “every state that we can get into.”
She went on:
“We’re not going to take anything for granted. Those polls are going to turn, I’m confident of it. Because… as people start to focus a little bit more about what’s at stake and start to become educated on the issues and the differences between the two men, I believe that Americans are going to choose good over evil.”

Politico reports Democrats are freaking out over Biden’s low poll numbers.
Still, Biden campaign spokesperson Kevin Munoz told Politico, “Trump’s photo-ops and PR stunts may get under the skin of some very serious D.C. people as compelling campaigning, but they will do nothing to win over the voters that will decide this election.”
“The work we do every day on the ground and on the airwaves in our battleground states — to talk about how President Biden is fighting for the middle class against the corporate greed that’s keeping prices high, and highlight Donald Trump’s anti-American campaign for revenge and retribution and abortion bans — is the work that will again secure us the White House,” he added.
The article comes as polls show Trump and Biden locked in a close race. According to RealClearPolitics’ average of general election polls, Trump leads Biden by 1.1 points.
