President Joe Biden has more than 19 million reasons to really like Michael Bloomberg right now.

That’s because the former New York mayor and billionaire donated nearly $20 million to Biden’s cause in his 2024 election rematch with former President Donald Trump, Fox News confirmed.

Bloomberg has been all over the political spectrum as he was a Republican turned independent turned Democrat.

Bloomberg wrote a check for $19 million to the Future Forward PAC, known as the FF PAC. It is is the leading super PAC supporting Biden’s campaign.

Bloomberg also gave the maximum donation of $929,600 to the Biden Victory Fund. This fund is a fundraising committee that benefits the president’s re-election campaign and various Democratic Party committees.

“I stood with Joe Biden in 2020, and I am proud to do so again,” Bloomberg said in a statement to The Washington Post, the first news organization to report the contributions.

Bloomberg controbuted $1 billion of his own money on his 2020 Democratic presidential nomination bid.

After dropping out of the race, he transferred about $18 million to the Democratic Party.

He also announced a $100 million independent ad campaign donation to help Biden’s bid for the presidency.

Bloomberg, who according to Forbes Magazine, is the 15th wealthiest person in the world. He has about $106 billion in assets.

Biden’s challenger is also getting hefty donations.

Conservative billionaire donor Timothy Mellon gave $50 million last month to a leading super PAC supporting Trump’s campaign.

According to a federal disclosure filing, Mellon made his contribution to Make America Great Again (MAGA) Inc. the day after Trump was convicted of all 34 felony counts in his criminal trial

Mellon is an heir to the Pittsburgh-based Mellon banking family.
