Veteran journalist Chris Wallace is predicting President Joe Biden’s re-election bid may be over after a disastrous debate performance.

CNN’s Erin Burnett noted Biden reportedly spent days preparing for the debate and asked, “What accounts for someone with so much experience doing so much preparation and this being outcome?”

“Honestly, I think the question answers itself. He wasn’t capable of doing any better than he did,” Wallace responded.

He went on:

“He was incapable tonight, on the biggest of stages that he sought, he in effect dictated. And with all of that preparation, he was incapable of doing better than he was. And you can’t come back from that.”

Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich shared two texts she received from Democrats. One read, “The race is over.”

Meanwhile, another said, “We are f***ed.”

Texts with Dem sources this morning:
“the race is over”
“we are f***ed”

Responding to my question of whether the campaign will kill the second debate, one Dem source said “God, I don’t know”. Another said “We should.”

I’ve been asking whether any heads will roll in Biden’s…

Meanwhile, The New York Times published several op-eds calling on Biden to step aside after the debate.
