There’s no love lost between former President Donald Trump and former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) as the war of words continues between the two sworn enemies.

The most recent exchange was prompted after Trump called for her “televised military tribunal,” per USA Today.

Trump promoted a graphic, stating, “Elizabeth Lynne Cheney is guilty of treason” and “Retruth if you want televised military tribunals.”

Cheney responded on X, formerly Twitter, “Donald – This is the type of thing that demonstrates yet again that you are not a stable adult—and are not fit for office.”

Cheney served as vice chair of the House Jan. 6 committee and was one of only 10 House Republicans to vote to impeach Trump for his alleged part in the U.S. Capitol riot.

The posts came before a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that Trump is immune from criminal prosecution for “official” acts he did while president.

This ruling could impact the outcome of his election subversion case.
