Fox News host Jesse Watters pushed his Black co-host to try on a “White Dudes For Harris” hat.
During a segment of “The Five” Thursday, Watters turned to Harold Ford Jr., who is Black, and said, “I got ‘White Dudes For Harris’ right here and I’m not going to put it on. For one reason.”
“I don’t want to mess up my hair, but two, I’m not for Harris,” he continued.
Watters continued:
“So, I’m going to give it to you. A ‘White Dudes for Harris.’ You are white, right? You’re white. Are you half?”
Watch the video below:
Ford Jr. responded, “I will give it to my father-in-law.”
“You wear that. No, you wear that, Harold,” Watters insisted. “I give this as a gift and you put it on your beautiful head.”
Ford Jr. responded in stride, “I appreciate that. Red, white and blue.”
Co-host Jeanine Pirro chimed in, “Stop it, Jesse.”
“You won’t wear it, so you’re not a Harris supporter?” Watters asked.
Ford Jr. said he is a Harris supporter.
Finally, Watters said, “Not going to mess up your hair, look at it. Come on, Harold, put the hat on!”
