When Vice President Kamala Harris spoke about “failed policies” that “we have proven don’t work,” she probably did not realize she was bolstering her opponent as well as facing ridicule herself.

Harris gave an address on the economy at The Economic Club of Pittsburgh Wednesday, according to Fox News.

Harris spoke about her “middle-class upbringing” and said she plans to “build a strong middle-class.”

“When the middle class is strong. America is strong. And we can build a stronger middle class,” the vice president said. “The American economy — is the most powerful force for innovation and wealth creation in human history. We just need to move past the failed policies that we have proven don’t work. And like generations before us, let us be inspired by what is possible,” Harris said.

However, her talk of “moving past” failed policies proved ironic given she is the current vice president.

And many posted on X, formerly Twitter, of that irony.

“Acceptance is the first step,” posted Steve Corte, former 2020 Trump campaign advisor and Fox News contributor.

“Who wants to tell her?” Redstate columnist Buzz Patterson wrote.

Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon went as far as to say Harris is pushing for voters to select former President Donald Trump.

“Kamala Harris says we need to move past the failed policies that don’t work. She’s telling to (sic) to vote for Trump. Listen to her,” Dillon wrote.
