Most of the players were there for a quintessential Trump family photo.
There was the president-elect, Don Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump, grandchildren and — Elon Musk.
Musk, a billionaire and staunch Trump supporter, was part of the family pictures taken at Mar-a-Lago the night of the election.
“President-elect Trump pulled tech billionaire Elon Musk and his son into a family photo on election night,” The Hill reported.
The moment was captured by Kai Trump, Trump’s 18-year-old granddaughter, and posted on YouTube.
“We have to get Elon with his boy,” Trump said in the video. “Gorgeous, perfect boy.”
Musk, along with his toddler son, X Æ A-Xii, joined the family for the photo, The Western Journal reported.
This move, however, made some onlookers nervous.
“[T]he billionaire’s inclusion in such a high-profile family photo suggests his influence may be felt in unexpected ways in the coming years,” Newsweek wrote.
CNN contributor Ana Navarro, was part of a story on the subject in the Mirror, noticed the inclusion of Musk and the absence of Melania Trump in the photo.
“Elon Musk seems to be everywhere at all times. He’s like, secretary of everything, and at the same time, he’s like [the] first lady,” Navarro said.
Others on X also commented.
“Elon has officially been adopted as a member of the Trump family, he’s in the family portrait now!!” one person commented.
“He fits right in!” said another.
“Is this the new Camelot?” one speculated.
“Love it! Elon is great!” a Musk fan wrote.
Trump announced Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will lead a new Department of Government Efficiency.
He said the two will work to “dismantle Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure Federal Agencies.”
And if anyone needs more proof of Musk as an honorary Trump, one only has to look at a previous post by Kai Trump on Nov. 10.
“Elon achieving uncle status,” she posted.
