President Donald Trump has been back in the Oval Office a mere week and has an international win as Colombia has agreed to his demands regarding illegal migrants.

CNN reported that Colombia has agreed to accept deported migrants in order to stave off Trump’s threats, which included substantial tariffs, Sunday night.

Colombia said it has agreed to “all of President Trump’s terms.”

“We will continue to receive Colombians and Colombian women who return as deportees, guaranteeing them decent conditions as citizens subject to rights,” Foreign Minister Luis Gilberto Murillo said.

Murillo also stated that U.S. deportation flights had started to fly again and the Colombian presidential plane will be utilized in repatriating citizens.

The White House will not levy the tariffs threatened unless Colombia “fails to honor this agreement.”

However, visa sanctions and customs inspections of Colombian nationals and cargo ships, will remain until the first group of Colombian deportees is returned.

“Today’s events make clear to the world that America is respected again. President Trump will continue to fiercely protect our nation’s sovereignty, and he expects all other nations of the world to fully cooperate in accepting the deportation of their citizens illegally present in the United States,” the White House said in a statement.

This agreement marks the end of a standoff that included the threat of higher coffee prices for Americans and impact thousands of Colombian workers.

It was also the first time — and first victory for Trump — regarding the new administration’s stance on immigration since Trump retook the presidency last week.
