Fox’s Greg Gutfeld said Tuesday that Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia still needs to go, regardless of whether he’s connected to MS-13.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that the Trump administration should “facilitate” Abrego Garcia’s “release from custody in El Salvador” and “ensure that his case is handled as it would have been” before he was mistakenly deported to the country in March. While discussing Democrats’ defense of Abrego Garcia on “The Five,” Gutfeld stepped in and said he “doesn’t care” about the issue, as a majority of Americans “favor [the] deportation of illegal [migrants].”

“You know what’s funny? I don’t care. I honestly don’t care,” Gutfeld said. “I bet the viewers at home feel this narrative at work. What is strange about this story?”

“The majority of Americans favor deportation of illegals, especially those who are criminals, but they favor deportation of illegal [migrants],” Gutfeld added. “The last, what, eight days, seven days, has been about one person. One person. I don’t even know his name. I don’t care. If he’s here illegally, he’s got to go. We are not responsible for the faulty process that allowed him to be here before. Is he a terrorist? Is he not a terrorist? I don’t care!”

Abrego Garcia’s case was brought before the Supreme Court in April by the Trump administration after a lower court had originally ordered that the administration “facilitate and effectuate the return of [Abrego Garcia] to the United States” by April 7.

Gutfeld went on to give an analogy to his co-hosts, saying that if somebody had been sitting in their “box seats,” they would ask why that person was there regardless of their background. The Fox host cited how Abrego Garcia is being “used” by Democrats as a “tool” to “subvert the needs and concerns of the American public.”

“Biden opened the border. Millions came in and, surely, murderers, and rapists were part of that,” Gutfeld said. “Now we’re deporting hundreds of thousands, and, surely, one or two might not be criminal. However, compare the error. In one of these errors, Americans don’t die. At worst, a guy gets sent to a country he doesn’t want to go to. You know what? I can live with that.”

WATCH:

Democrat strategist and co-host Jessica Tarlov jumped in, asking if Gutfeld is OK with Abrego Garcia going to a “prison camp.”

“I’m sorry, Jessica. I understand your concern, but I refuse to care about one person who is an illegal alien,” Gutfeld said. “The mental shelf space that I have is now reserved for victims of crime, which I’ve been talking about for years.”

“This manufactured narrative, ‘family man, father of three’ coming from the media who, with the same intensity, talked about [how] having children was bad for the climate are now telling us that when you have children you are now a pillar of the community. If that guy was a white American citizen, they would just call him a MAGA extremist. But he’s an illegal alien, and he has kids and now ‘He’s the spirit of the community. He’s a good guy.’”

In their filing to the Supreme Court, members of the Trump administration admitted that Abrego Garcia was placed on a deportation plane due to an “administrative error,” but they also argued he would be dangerous to return, as he is allegedly connected to MS-13.

In 2019, Abrego Garcia was arrested by local authorities, with the Prince George’s County Police Department accusing him of being connected to the MS-13 gang after allegedly finding evidence of his gang name and rank. Prior to his March deportation, Abrego Garcia had reportedly been living in Maryland with his American wife and child.
