White House Displays Posters in Lawn to Highlight Illegal Immigration

Placards, with the faces of what are described by the Trump administration as alleged illegal immigrant criminals, line the driveway at the White House in Washington, DC, on April 28, 2025. The White House sought to highlight illegal immigration as the Trump administration displayed posters in the lawn.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt posted a video to X on Monday morning, writing, “Good Morning from The White House!”

In a press release, the White House claimed the posters display “the worst of the worst criminal illegal immigrants arrested since President Donald J. Trump took office.”

The video showed yard signs displayed that read “ARRESTED” at the top. The signs also appeared to show mugshots or other photos, along with an “illegal alien” label.

Additionally, the signs seemed to have the crime for which the person is being accused of committing, as the White House claims. These include murder, rape, and distribution of fentanyl, among other crimes.

Per Axios, there were about 100 posters placed.

The White House declared in a separate post on X, “We will hunt you down. You will face justice. You will be deported — and you will never set foot on American soil again.”

“Oh, and your mugshot may just end up on a yard sign at the White House,” the post read.

Leavitt and border czar Tom Homan held a press briefing beginning at 8:30 a.m. EST:

This display comes ahead of President Donald Trump’s 100th day in office on Tuesday.
