An ex-assistant of Sean “Diddy” Combs used a pseudonym while testifying in his sex trafficking and racketeering trial Thursday to protect her identity.

According to Fox News, the ex-assistant who used the name “Mia,” said she witnessed several violent instances between Combs and his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

While helping Ventura pack for a trip, Mia said she and Combs’ former stylist Deonte Nash were alarmed when Combs began banging loudly on the door, before entering the room and questioning the two on whether Ventura had been drinking alcohol.

Mia then claimed Combs began to attack Ventura, throwing her to the ground. Mia noted that she and Nash attempted to break up the tussle, with Mia claiming she jumped on Combs’ back, but was thrown against a wall.

Mia then alleged she witnessed Combs slam Ventura’s head into the corner of the bed, telling the court that when Combs became angered his eyes “turned like black,” and added that it was hard to reason with Combs when he was angry.

The former assistant also worked as a director at Revolt Films, describing her experience working with Combs as “chaotic, toxic … the highs were really high and the lows were really low,” and dependent on whatever mood Combs was in at the time.

Mia alleged that during the incidences between Combs and Ventura, she never saw Ventura fight back but rather Ventura would only lift her arms to protect herself from his attacks and said these attacks happened “all the time.”

She first witnessed the rapper assault Cassie in 2009 or 2010 at Combs’ home. She recalled hearing “loud thuds” and watching suitcases being thrown into the foyer. Outside, Cassie was “crying and shaking” near a bush, her eyes filled with fear—almost as if Mia wasn’t supposed to see her. Mia said she understood Cassie’s unspoken request and looked away, admitting she was confused about what was happening.
